Sundial watch face looks very nice, but is hard to read

The sundial watch face really looks beautiful. But the little part actually showing the time is not easy to read at a glance, with white numbers or dials often not very contrastring with a light blue background. It would be very nice if it'd be possible to choose the colors, or if the colors would change automatically to contrast better with the background (e.g. the part of a dial above a dark blue background would be white, the part of a dial above a light blue background would be black).
