Hide Pages on Ipad Air

Hi,

I'm new to Ios converting from Android.

I'm confused, I have read that on Ios14 you are able to hide pages. I have tried this on my new ipad air 4 (2020) but when I click on the dots I don't get the grid view to check the pages I want to hide.

Is this feature available on IPad or just on iPhone running IOS 14.

How do I hide pages on my iPad Air 2? In the new iOS 14 update, a new feature allowed you to hide pages on your iPad. However, on my iPad Air 2 with the 14.0.1 update, pressing the navigation bar while the screen is in editing mode does not show me all the pages so that I can chose which ones to show or which ones to hide? Is this an issue or is this feature not supported on iPads?

In Landscape mode How do I hide the Browse panel in Files On my ipad This is easy to do in safari and in “upright” mode the Browse Panel goes away but in landscape mode there does not seem to be a way to hide this panel.

App Library How can I hide the App Library when I have the Focus feature on? The feature allows you to hide pages, but not the App Library. I don’t understand the point of hiding pages if I can see the apps by simply swiping to the App Library. It defeats the purpose of the hide pages feature.

Yes, that feature is available on your iPad Air provided that it is running iPadOS 14.x.x. You have confirmed that it is running iPadOS 14. Below is how to hide a specific Home Screen (Page).

TOUCH and HOLD on the page dots until you see the apps jiggle and get in edit mode. Now, single TAP on the page dots. You will now see the Home Screens (Pages) in edit mode. You can remove the check marks under the Home Screen (page) that you wish to hide.

That’s how I thought it worked but not working on my iPad Air 4 (2020)

If I touch and hold page dots nothing happens.

If I enter jiggle mode first then tap page dots again nothing happens.

i have reset the settings on the device but that didn’t help.

Any more ideas please ??????

Can you confirm that you have iPadOS 14.x.x installed on your iPad? Open Settings ➔ General ➔ About to find out the version.

If you have any Screen Time Restrictions active then disable those as well.

Software version 14.7.1

screen time turned off so no restrictions.

Just spoken to Apple support and at the current time they say this feature is available on iPhone iOS but not iPadOS.
