Touch screen not working

Hey everyone!

i’ve dropped my phone in water, i was thinking my iphone xs max is water proof

sadly after 5 hours i discover that my touch screen is not working correctly or not working anymore after a few minutes of using the phone

can anyone help ?

my phone is out guarantee

iPhone 7, iOS 14

No iPhone ever made is water proof. They are water resistant, but when dropped in water, as you have now learned, they can be damaged. And liquid damage is not covered by warranty, nor repairable. So your choices are:


  1. Purchase an Out of Warranty replacement which will cost about 60% of the cost of phone when new OR
  2. Purchase a brand new phone
