How do I see what I previously copied?

i copied a really important link and accidentally copied some text. How do I get the link back?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We can understand the concern with this issue you're having. We're happy to provide some insight in this for you. Any items copied will remain on the Clipboard until the next item is copied. Once you copy another the item, the previous item is deleted. There is currently no way to retrieve a previously copied item. We hope this info helps you.
