So the past few weeks, My iPhone XR just stops charging. I'll wake up in the morning and my phone says it's at 40% or something around there even though it was plugged in all night. I have the "Optimized charging" turned off and it still happens. Sometimes, I plug it in next to me when I am sitting on the couch and it shows it's charging and then it just randomly stops charging. Please advise...

While it may not be obvious, it is very important to only use good quality cables; either Apple cables or cables that are certified as Made For iPhone. Never “gas station” cables. Here’s why: Why Counterfeit Lightning Cables Kill iPhones - Motherboard. And the same thing applies to power sources. Apple or MFI only.

Have you tried a different lightning cable? I experienced similar behaviour until I replaced the cable.
