I would like to ask why apple cant make a cable that doesnt crack on the lightning port side? The cable itself also wears out where it enters the plastic. I go through so many cabels and do not want to buy counterfeit. Please Apple, make a better cabel!
only ever lost 1 cable (wifes)
trick is to disconnect the cable by only pulling the plastic connector and not yank the wire (heck I still have my ipod touch 1g cable from 2007 working)

I am careful. Extremely careful. Im one of those people that turn door knobs to close the door. What would explain why the hard plastic bit cracks? I awfully disappointed with Apples cables because I cant be more careful.
