I found a mac compatible driver for a very old webcam I own. The instructions say to drag it to the driver folder into the /Library/QuickTime folder which doesn't exist in Big Sur. What folder can I instead place this driver into for my webcam to work? The driver folder is labelled "x".component if that helps

The driver in all reality is totally incompatible anyway (possibly 32bit) if it is very old and also the entire driver installation and registration is completely different.
Basically, it will likely not work, even if it had a proper installer.
