Powers on. Once I press the top button it spins white , then red but I never get the message that the HomePod is about to reset. It then flashes volume up /down and then does back to spinning white. No message pops up on my iPhone.
I’m sorry nothing can be done. Blinking volume lights indicate a serious failure.
The only other thing to try, which likely won’t work is to leave it unplugged for over 24 hrs, plug back in and try the hard reset again
If it’s still under warranty please get in touch with Apple. Get Support
unfortunately not. It’s an original HomePod and this just started after a recent update. Took it to the genius bar and they said they couldn’t do anything about it.
