Accidentally clicked on sketchy link

Im in a discord server with other members of my area who play a game that I play as well. Someone posted a link with a preview of a fake news story that I accidentally clicked on. The link brought me to an inappropriate image and I quickly closed out of it.

What can I do to make sure that my iPhone is safe and it wasn't a virus. I checked my downloads folder and there was nothing there. I want to reset my phone but if I do a backup then Ill be back where I started.

It appears you have a concern about security on your iPhone after clicking on a "sketchy" link.

These kinds of links are most often phishing attempts. As long as you did not enter any data, you should be OK. If you continue to have concerns, you may want to look into MalwareBytes for iPhone. This app was originally developed by members of this very community.
