Can’t import Clip again after deleted it in fcpx

Hello,

I’ve got a question and Hope someone can help me.

i started to make a new library -> Event -> Project. i Import a Clip. Everything is fine right now. I see the clip in fcpx and could ad it to the timeline.

Problem:

I can’t import the clip again! if I deleted the Clip by marking it in fcpx and press backspace (above the Timeline in my project overview), it’s not possible to import it again if I change my mind :D

i go to Media -> import choose the exact same clip which I imported a few minutes ago but nothing happens?!

the only way is to make a new library. Then it’s possible to import the Clip. But as you can imagine I don’t want a new library…

hope you guys can help me. Sorry my English isn’t good.

Kind regards

Tim

You did not delete the clip, it is still there, and that is why you can’t reimport it.

Pressing Delete marks a clip or a selection as “Rejected”.

Command-Delete is the shortcut to actually delete (move to trash).

Look at the top of the browser, there is a popup. Change from Hide Rejected to All Clips.
