Hi there. I have some things to share with you which may be useful. Google is a search engine which works with most any browser. Safari is a browser that is installed as part of the computer's operating system and it cannot be removed. You will find it in the applications folder. You can drag its icon down to the Dock to place an alias there for future use.It is also helpful to have another browser installed such as Firefox or Chrome for various reasons. Many of us have additional browsers installed. In conclusion you CAN use Safari or one of the other available browsers. I hope this helps.
