Issue when presenting a video on Google Meet using Safari

Earlier, I was trying to present to my class a video on Google Meet using Safari. My students said that they can see the video but they cannot hear it. I tried using Google chrome with my other class and it did work, they can see and hear the video. What should I do to use Safari when presenting a video on google meet? Thanks.

google classroom for ipad video controls disappear After I press play on a video in Google Classroom, the controls disappear. I can no longer pause the video, skip ahead, etc. When I touch the bottom of the screen after initially pushing play, these controls disappear. The only solution is to quit the app, and restart the video from the beginning again.
