I am a developer and I need to make a video on the site that plays automatically with sound when visiting the site. Is it even possible? If not, you can give a link to the page where the policy says that this is prohibited
Autoplay of a video with sound is one of the most uniformly hated features of the web.
If you do decide to implement that, I would strongly encourage you to sign your associated website work only with a pseudonym, so that it’s not tracked back to you. 😉
For,those browsers that still per it websites and autoplay, I would expect that setting to last one or two encounters before it gets disabled. That’s assuming the browsers don’t disable autoplay by default.
