Can’t add funds to my Apple Cash?

Trying to add funds to my Apple Cash/Wallet and it keeps saying error/declining even though I have more than enough to cover. What could be the issue? I’m trying to add 1.3k. I just like using Apple Pay better.

We understand that you're looking to add money to Apple Cash, but seeing that you're getting an error or declining although you shouldn't be. We'd be glad to help with this to the best of our ability.


This could be related to exceeding limits of how much you're able to transfer within a 7 day period, as well as possible limitations from your bank or card issuer. As we're unable to exactly state what is causing it from here, we'd recommend taking a look at the following resource to make sure that the limits aren't being exceeded to rule that out. If you see that you're within the limits, we'd recommend checking in with your bank or card issuer to make sure they're not declining this out of security to make sure it's you.


Apple Cash and person to person payments limits


If you see that this isn't related to limits being exceeded, or a decline from your bank or card issuer, we'd recommend that you Contact Apple Support so they can look into this with you in more detail.
