If the battery was completely depleted, then you may need to pair it again. If your Apple TV remote isn't working - Apple Support
If the remote is broken, then you will need to replace it. Siri Remote - Apple TV accessories - Apple Store online
Did not work it is faulty only the volume up & down button work, told I need to get a new one from Apple.🤦🏻♀️
