I have a factory unlocked iphone 12 mini and it does not detect my sim card. the sim card works perfectly fine in my iphone 6s but not in the 12 mini. I've tried different sim cards and its the same issue. Please help!

Does your carrier provide 5G service to you when you use the iPhone 12 (all versions)? If YES then the carrier may require to use a 5G SIM card for your iPhone 12 to work. Please contact your carrier and inquire about this and get your iPhone working.

If you have just purchased the iPhone 12 Mini, then can you return or exchange it for a device that works?

Thanks for your prompt response Axel. My carrier provides 4g service and i recently had my sim card upgraded to the their latest version thinking that would address the issue but the problem persist. Its seems the issue is with the phone as i tried a different carrier sim card and it was the same issue.
