imessage

my imessage app won’t load and it just has. a white screen when i press it, eventually it kicks me out. i’ve tried going into settings to click on ‘imessage’ to fix it but as soon as i press imessage it freezes. anyone know why?

iMessage So I’ve been texting friends and family and I noticed just today in the afternoon that, my iMessage would just take a long time to deliver and freeze and if I were to close the app and open it up again, the screen would just be black. Has anyone been through this?

Restart the device. That's it.
Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
