Volume of Fall Detection Alert

When the alert goes off (whether for an actual fall or a false alarm), I do not hear it or notice the vibration on my wrist. Is it possible to change the volume of the alert so I stand a better chance of hearing it?

Fall detection false alarms I see from prior questions/answers that the fall detection sensitivity cannot be changed. So this is more of a discussion item so that maybe Applet will add sensitivity adjustment in the future. Being 74, I thought the fall detection feature would be a good idea, especially since I'm still a very active bike rider. But therein is the source of the false alarms. When riding fast I hit a bump or small pothole and the alarm goes off. Then I have to decide whether I can safely turn off the alarm while riding or where to find a safe place to spot in time to stop the alarm before 911 is called. On balance, I've decided I'm safer not having to deal with the false alarms while riding, so I've turned off the fall detection feature. Too bad.

Noise detection for hearing impaired I am hearing impaired. I need a noise detection device to make me aware of loud noises such as a ringing phone or fire alarm. I can’t hear these noises when not wearing my hearing aids. I want something that I wear on my wrist so I have it on when sleeping. I’ve been looking for such a device for years. It is a safety concern if my husband is away. Apple, can you help the hearing impaired community?

Is there any way to use the alarm with only vibrate Any way to use the alarm with just vibrate? The alarms are so jolting and loud

The volume on both the watch and the phone are maxed out, so not much else to be done apparently. Thank you.

You can only increase the volume as much as the watch will allow.
