Removing apps from iwatch

}In watchOS 7.6.1 there are many apps I cannot delete in the standard way (the x does not appear nor does left swipe work in list mode) either on the watch nor on the iPhone watch app. The advice on the net ( iPhone, go to the Watch app Settings > General > Restrictions) is also missing. They also are not listed on the "Installed on my apple watch" section, but do show in the listing of apps before the "installed section.. I do not want to delete the app from my iPhone, just from the watch. Thanks for any advice on how to solve this issue.
