Keychain not showing Skype password

My Mac was new in summer 2020. The Keychain app won't show me the password to my Skype account. It only shows me the very very long hashed "raw token."

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 10.15

Keychain not saving Passwords I'm running Monterey on my desktop and on my mini and on my laptop and I can't get Keychain to save my passwords. At first, I was asked if I wanted to save it whenever I set up an account on websites or applications, etc., then it stopped asking. I may have said no one time. That may have caused the problem to start, but I didn't deny saving it all of the devices. I say maybe because I didn't think to look at Keychain Access right after I denied saving it the one time. I assumed, if I denied it the one time, it would only apply to that one instance. Keychain does save tokens, but not the password that I enter at the sites.

Why won't Keychain show me passwords I search for? I don't know what's going on with my Keychain. I had to access my Apple ID to sign in, opened the Keychain, put Apple ID in the search window, and nothing whatsoever showed up! And when I search for just Apple, I get hundreds of results, but even if I try to look through them all, I can't find it! What happened? This wasn't acting like this until very recently, probably since the latest OS update (11.6). I guess this is yet another bug from an update released before it's time.... smh

That function of saving the Application password would be from Within the Application is question and not part Keychain. Unless you manually Add it to Keychain.

Is the the password for the Skype Application or the password for the www.skype.com website

Thanks. So is there a way of accessing the password from within the application? I want to be able to log into my account on other devices.

Do not know as do not use Skype - Try this link for Skype https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA12125/how-do-i-sign-in-to-skype
