How do I remove a file assocoation

Somehow, I've associated .sh with a text editor.

Now, when I double-click/open a .sh file, it goes to the editor instead of running the script.

How do I remove that so that .sh runs the script again?

How can I remove a file association? - I need it to be neutral again I was trying to run a vbs file in Adobe Indesign (yes, it's an old process) but I needed to edit the path in the script so I opened it with TextEdit and foolishly ticked the box to open all such file types with TextEdit. Now all vbs files are designated as TextEdit files and Indesign doesn't recognise it as a script file. What are my options? I've searched for answers and really what I want is to remove the default file association and make it neutral again. Though it doesn't seem possible. Any help? Thanks!

And, when I open Script Editor, I get Illegible code, that is locked. I cannot unlock nor delete it. I am prompted that I can duplicate it. Will duplicating it fix all of this? What happens if you change the association to Terminal?

What happens if you change the file suffix from .sh to .command?

Also, aren't there some permissions that have to be set to run a file as a script?
