Why will my watch not connect to the Bluetooth on my phone? It has been working and now it’s just stopped today

Watch and phone disagreeing On my watch it is showing phone not connected but on my phone’s Bluetooth roster it shows the watch as connected. I can’t get them to reconcile. I tried powering down and restarting both which didn’t work. Any other “fixes” to try?
