My HomePod won’t come on after manual reset, unplugging from power. Now what did I do?

My HomePod won’t turn on. I’ve restarted manually to reset but the light doesn’t light up to set it up again. What now?

It takes a moment to light up. How long did you wait? Plug it in again and put your phone or other iOS device beside it and wait for the chime, after the white swirling light has finished.


Or press the top to see if Siri responds in case it never reset fully, if it’s still in the home app it is set up, in which case you can try a Restart. If you’re still not sure, give Apple a call and they can assist: call 1-800-MY-APPLE
