Macbook Pro 2017 A1707 - Horizontal Lines on Retina Display - Previous Screen burned into background

Please help me.

My mac all of a sudden started having issues with the LCD.

It appears that the previous screen is burned into the screen?

Not sure what has caused this or how to fix it?

Thanks for trying that and for clarification.

Let's boot up in safe mode and see if the issue appears there as well. If so, having someone physically inspect your Mac would likely be the next reasonable step. For more info on that, check out How to use safe mode on your Mac. If you do end up needing an inspection, learn how to get started using the Mac Service and Repair page.

Be well.

Hey there, sdhsdfjasf.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! Thanks for posting about the graphical issues you've noticed on your MacBook Pro. We'd be glad to see how we can help.

There's a page available that deals with If your Mac display doesn’t look right. We'd suggest going through those steps first. You may also want to reset the System Management Controller, which is explained in How to reset the SMC of your Mac.

Let us know what you find out.

Take care.
