Turn off/remove Color Gradients? [System-wide]
Icons such as shortcuts, the app store, mail, mail, camera, safari, etc. all have a color gradient that is a part of their design - where the color will shift from light blue to dark blue as you look across the icon [for example]. Another example is the shortcuts icon that uses color shifts as a part of their design. Is there a way to simplify this to a limited palette of flat colors?
I am aware that I can create shortcuts and input my own icons, but that only solves the home screen [I only use one page]. I can use multiple pages, but there are times where I will need to access the system menu and be subjected to the gradients/color shifts again.
I would like to know how to implement a system-wide filter that removes gradients. It would be much easier on my eyes.
I am already using a color filter [all hues of green] that has greatly improved my experience, but I would like to stamp out the outliers as well [the system icons mainly - blurs do not bother me a ton. Smoothing this out as well would be a plus].
I do not want this
Something in this direction - not necessarily black/white, I am aiming for a palette that is flat and limited.
Thanks for taking the time to read and I hope someone can help!
