Is is normal for My iPhone 12 to extremely light up the object and Even the area around when i use My camera?

iphone 13 pro max wide angle camera not working Hi! My wide angle camera seems to not be working properly. The phone hasn’t been dropped, hasn’t been anywhere near water - it suffered no damage. I tried to take some photos today and when I zoom below 1.0 (so when the wide angle camera kicks in), the photos turn out like this. Also, those vertical coloured lines show up while taking the pic. I have the most recent software update (16.2). Has anyone encountered this before?

Taking photo of a plant in the pitch dark is a challenge even for a pro photographer.

Don't use flash outdoors at night with infinite background without manual exposure controls.
