Shipping damaged device back within 10 days

I live on campus at a college, and the mailing center gets very busy and im not sure if I will be able to get the box to send my damaged device back within 10 days. I was wondering how this will affect me because i do not want to be fined for something thats out of my control

Send in to repair through post box I have requested a repair for my Iphone. I received the empty box and have managed to send back to Apple. But due to Covid-19 the post office (Royal Mail) nearest me is closed. I decided put the parcel in post box instead as I have read that it's a free postage (paid by recipient). But now I am very worried that my Iphone is going to get lost as I don't have any proof of postage because I just put the parcel in the postbox. Can anyone advice me on this please? Should I call the post office or Apple to at least ensure myself that my phone is going to be OK?

iPhone screen repair I contacted apple on the 13/04/20 to have my screen on my phone repaired, the shipping box was sent on the 14/04/20 but I’ve still not received it and it’s not recorded being with the courier I apparently have 10 days to send it in, I understand due to Covid19 this is causing delays but have I longer than the 10 days before my paid request is cancelled. ??

If it is late just call AppleCare, give them your case ID and tell them what happened.
