Apple Watch Digital Crown

The Digital Crown on my watch doesn’t seem to be working. My watch is constantly twitching and draining the battery. I was applying sun cream on today and maybe that was the cause. Over tried resetting the watch but that didn’t work. I’m wondering what I should do?
