Is This Apple Call Schedule Mail Legitimate?

Hello!

Recently I received an e-mail concerning to my application for a job listing. The mail was requesting me to confirm my submitted phone number for a call, probably for an interview.

I checked it quite a bit and it was indeed coming from an @apple.com mail address and mail address' (supposed) owner has a LinkedIn profile. But the mail had 1 or 2 punctuation mistakes, so it worries me that it may be an identity theft and recruitment scam.

Is it possible for hackers to get an @apple.com e-mail address? And more importantly, can they really reach to my applications through apple jobs?

Thank you in advance.

You could log into your Apple recruiting profile to verify information. You can also hover over the email address in Mail on a Mac and click the "down arrow" that appears in the highlighting for the actual email address.
