Apple products not connecting to wifi extender

We have just setup a new wifi extender (AX1800 Mesh Extender) and have successfully connect all our devices except the apple ones. We have tried both my iPhone and Mac air but have been completely unsuccessful. We have tried resetting the network extenders and resetting the network settings on the devices. I can’t think of anything else to try so would appreciate any ideas
