Japanese Power Adapter in UK

I have purchased a MacBook Air in Tokyo. If I buy a UK plug adapter will I be able to use the same adapter as the one that came with my new laptop?

Yes, all Apple power adapter can be used worldwide, you only need a pin adapter.
