European plug for U.S. power adapter???

I recently replaced my mid 2012 15" MacBook Pro with a 2020 13" MacBook Pro M1. Can I replace my american plug on the power adapter with a european plug for use in Europe? I already have a european plug from the old 2012 power adapter.

Always check the power-adaptor’s “nameplate” to positively verify; but Apple adaptors are “universal input” 100-240 VAC / 50/60 Hz.

To use these adaptors in Europe, you’ll only need the plug style appropriate for the country.
