How can I get back my pictures from iCloud

Have you signed into Settings/Your Name using the same Apple ID that was used to sync the photos to iCloud and in iCloud, turned Photos syncing on? The photos sync is extremely slow. It could take several days or more for the photos to sync.

Did you try what I posted above and then wait several days for the photos to sync?

If necessary, try Settings/Your Name/iCloud and slide off Photos syncing. Wait a few minutes and then slide syncing on. Allow time for syncing to occur. The photos sync is extremely slow. It could take several days or more for the photos to sync.  

Last resort - have you tried signing out of iCloud, restarting the device, and then signing back in?

Go to your iCloud click the select button or long press on the pictures. Then, click save. They will save to photos by default but you can select location.
