Mac Pro 2013 looses connection with Apple Mouse on wake.

Once this Mac Pro has been in sleep mode for too long the mouse (Magic Mouse

2009) is not connected anymore. A bluetooth message window appears. Turning the mouse off and on again results in reconnection. Then works fine even after mac sleeps for an hour or so.

Only started a few weeks ago.

No OS updates from 11.5.2. No new devises added or other bluetooth equipment installed.

Using a wired older mac keyboard (A1243).

Have reset the SMC, NVRAM/PRAM.

Mac Pro, macOS 11.5

Hello ZIXODES,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that your Magic Mouse becomes disconnected from your Mac Pro after your Mac goes to sleep.

Great troubleshooting so far. Do you have another Bluetooth device to test? If so, does this only happen with your Magic Mouse? Is there another mouse you can use temporarily? If so, try removing your Magic Mouse, then pairing it again to see if the same occurs. Reference Connect a Bluetooth device with your Mac if needed.

Take care.
