I am trying to follow up on my free trial email to use Apple TV for a year.

The offer should be redeemed on your new Apple device in the TV app. If you are eligible, then a “Enjoy <x time> Free” redeem button should appear there.
The offer should be redeemed in the first three months after device activation.
For devices activated on or after July 1st 2021, the offer duration is no longer a year, but 3 months instead.
If you enjoyed this offer before, then you can’t redeem it again.
