Calibrate display on iMac

I have a new iMac 24" Big Sur 11.3. When I go to Systems Preferences to calibrate the display, I am told to set the contrast to the highest setting. Where the heck is the contrast setting?

The default Contrast is Normal. To check go to Apple > System Preferences > Accessibility > Display.

Also, while there is a "Customize" selection at the end of the dropdown list, selecting this only shows the dropdown list again. There is no calibration mechanism. Help. (But first please READ my question and do not tell me to do things I've listed as not possible. Thank you.)
