MacBook Pro and Roku Stick+: videos stop and start

I recently bought a Roku Stick+ and attached it to my TV set. I am able to view my Mac screen on my TV set. However, when I play videos they often stop and start, sometimes so much that they make the video impossible to watch. I know that they communicate using Bluetooth. They are only about 12 feet apart. Is this a known issue? I have also opened a ticket with Roku.

The videos do not stop and start when I view them on my MacBook Pro.

How are you connected to the Rock Stick+? Do you use AirPlay (Screen Mirroring) from your MacBook Pro to the Roku? If YES, then you should be using your Wi-Fi Network to connect and not Bluetooth. Locate the manual for your Roku Stick+ determine whether it is AirPlay compatible.

I just checked, and my Roku is connected to my Wifi network, which should be very fast. I am using AirPlay. I ran Check connection, and it shows an internet download speed of 19 Mbps, which is pretty slow since I have more than 360 Mbps upload and download with fiber into my house. Since I am not watching films over the internet (I don't like the ads), that should not be relevant.

I ran it again and got 34 Mbps. It says Connection Type: Wireless, Signal Strength: Excellent. So, I don't think this explains what I am seeing.
