All notes written with apple pencil on my iPad disappeared

after turning on "Notes" on "APPS USING ICLOUD" on my iPad Air 4, all notes written with apple pencil on my iPad disappeared, Can't find them in my iCloud account through the web or on my iPhone nor my mac.

Apple Notes lag when taking handwritten notes on iPad Pro with Apple Pencil I have the 2nd generation iPad Pro and noticed a lot of lag after updating to iPadOS 16.1. This is especially prominent as the size of the notes increase (i.e. more than 4 - 5 pages). At this point, the current note is completely unusable. I have also noticed that if you close the notes once the lag appears, apple notes does not save the 'laggy portion' as well. I restarted the iPad and also ensured no apps were running in the background. Lag remains.

iCloud Notes not updating Notes in Ventura or in iOS don't appear in iCloud Notes. No system I'm logged into, iPadOS or even Monterey, will update iCloud, and consequently nothing syncs across platforms. Notes are switched on in Apple ID iCloud on all devices. System Status is Ok. The last note that appeared iCloud was on Nov 30. Other iCloud systems, Mail and Calendar, are all still syncing. The problem seems to be only in Notes. Does anyone know how to overcome this? Is there some switch for iCloud to sync aside from those on the various platforms? It's a huge problem for me if Notes doesn't sync. Thanks very much for any assistance.

We see you're missing some notes after enabling Notes in your iCloud settings. Is it possible you were storing notes on another account previously? You can learn how to check that here: If you're missing notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If they were stored in iCloud previously here's a resource that may help as well: Delete and recover notes on iCloud.com
