Loom on my Macbook pro

I installed Loom on my macbook pro. It continues to run in the background, drain my battery, and heat up my computer. When I hover my cursor over the Loom icon at the top of the screen, I get the spinning beach ball. When I go to force quit, the application is not listed. When I go to the Applications folder and try to delete it, I get the message that the Loom app is open and I can't delete it. Loom support gave me instructions to use the Terminal app, but the Terminal app didn't move forward after I gave my password. Anyone have any ideas?

Open the Activity Monitor Application >> View >> View ALL Processes and look for Loom and upper area of tool bar for Activity Monitor Force Quit

Is this the Application or Safari Extension ?? If extension for Safari >> Preferences >> Extensions and Disable the extension and Uninstall
