On Mac mini M1/Big Sur 11.5.2 (and previous) Bluetooth mouse works fine at first, then becomes laggy. Wired mouse fine, Apple wireless keyboard fine. Wireless mouse is Logitech Pebble M350; this mouse fine with Mac mini server 2011/High Sierra.

I had the same problem untill today when I changed my display connector from a usb-c/dp to a heavily shielded HDMI. Poor quality cables can interfere a lot with BT.

Sleep is unnecessary on the M1, you can disable it. Check “Prevent…” in Energy Preferences. This might fix your mouse issue too, but then add the following: shut down, remove power cable from mini for 10 minutes, restart. Good luck!
If Logitech gave you a mouse dongle you can try that ilo bluetooth.
I tried the Logitech download, and things are working well now. Sometimes that happens, then it all goes again. I have a wired mouse on permanent standby.

Last night, I updated my M325 firmware, which was acting funny in 10.14 Mojave.
I just checked Logitech - the official website did not offer any updated firmware, but supplies software update.

Hi, dongle gives same problem. Will try the dongle next time it starts getting laggy. I think there are a lot of minor fixed to do in Big Sur; for example, on waking from sleep, the 2 monitors have switched round (left to right etc) or the resolution is wrong. Unpredictable, but manageable, and still annoying.

I have disabled computer sleep, but the monitors still need to sleep to save energy. Sometimes when monitors come on, only one comes on, or they have swapped left to right, or the resolution is completely wrong. At least the mouse works properly, which was impossible to solve and I had to fall back to using a wired mouse.
If the displays are wrong, If I ask the computer to sleep, a minute or two later on pressing a key it will wake as it should. There is a Philips monitor in the USB 3 port, and an Apple cinema display on the HDMI port. Either can fail to appear.
