I’m sorry but It’s a serious failure that cannot be fixed. The only thing you can try but likely will not work: unplug for over 24 hrs then do a hard reset by pressing the top: Reset HomePod - Apple Support

If it’s still under warranty get in touch with Apple. Get Support

I just encountered this problem yesterday. I wasn’t able to reset the HomePod, so I unplugged it and left it overnight. Today I plugged it back in and was able to successfully reset it.
