Image download problem

Hi, I am seeing some peculiar problem here with iPhone.

when I forward some old files/images through WhatsApp( file/image still exists in WhatsApp and gallery) the receiver is not able to download that. But recent files/images when forwarded, they are getting downloaded. What is the problem here?
