Pay with Touch ID on Macbook Not Reading Print

Touch ID uses fingerprint without issue to access and insert passwords, including the website I'm attempting to pay a bill with. But, when using Apple Pay (yes, it is a specified payment option), Pay with Touch ID does not read my fingerprint. There are no error messages for the card and/or billing address.

I selected an option to pay with a credit card on the site and Touch ID works to fill the credit card information on the page.

Clearly Touch ID is working, it's just not working for Pay with Touch ID for an unknown reason.

Using Safari (14.1.2 (16611.3.10.1.6)) on macOS Big Sur (11.5.2)
