iPhone 12 Pro Max finance

hi I am currently financing an iPhone 12 Pro Max with and unpaid balance I was wondering if I could trade in my iPhone for the 13 when it comes out. And I want to know if I’d have to pay the remainder of my finance or will they give the trade in value towards the balance of my finance.
