If you look here, Photoshop system requirements, it will work on your iMac.

However, it is recommended by Adobe, and I agree, that you upgrade to 16GB of Memory. Since you have a 27" iMac, this is a user-upgradeable component.

Yes it will, assuming there are no systematic problems preventing it. But, until we upgraded wife's 2015 27" to 16 GB, performance was slow and choppy at best.

I have just upgraded to 32 GB RAM on my 2019 27” iMac. Lightroom is sooooo much easier to use.
