How to get app icons on my iPhone back?

I deleted some applications thinking it would save battery life on my iPhone 8 Plus. Then I reinstalled the application but the icon is no longer on my Home Screen- how do I get the app icon back?

Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.
