Hi everyone,
I am trying to connect my Apple devices to a new TV, the Sony X85J (43").
As I enter the onscreen code provided, it seems nothing happen. I keep entering until another code appears then repeat, all to no avail.
My Apple devices software is up-to-date, so is the TV software.

Your TV may need to be added to the Home app, and assign it a named room. Add a HomeKit accessory to the Home app - Apple Support

Hi Urquhart, thanks for your message.
I now tried to set up the TV on the Home app, but as I scan the picture the code changes and I get the message "unable to add accessory - The setup code is incorrect".
I also tried to insert it manually, but is the same.
Airplay is active from the control settings.

Problem solved: the issue was caused by a setting of the privacy policy, as I initially did not flag the "Sony Smart TV Services" option. Further explanations here: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00260396
