What happens if I click "delete backup" in order to delete the iCloud backups from my phone to free up storage? I have just paid to upgrade my storage allowance, and apparently I still don’t have enough storage space. I DO NOT want to delete all the photos saved to my iCloud. So if I delete and disable backup, but keep photos turned on, then my photos should still save to iCloud right?
Deleting an iCloud Backup does not affect iCloud Photos. Those are two different services.
Also note that if you have iCloud Photos turned on your photos are not included in an iCloud Backup.
