Setting a refresh rate for Stocks

I am tracking stocks and cryptocurrencies in Numbers and want to be able to

  1. set a refresh rate (example: 5 minutes or 15 minutes)
  2. be able to do a manual refresh for all the cells if desired...script?

Any pointers or is there an existing solution that can be referenced would be appreciated.

If you are talking about the STOCK or STOCKH function, the most recent data is yesterday's close. Refreshing it every 5 or 15 minutes will not provide any new information.

Functions will refresh whenever a change is made to the spreadsheet. A typical way to do it is to put a checkbox in a cell that you can check and uncheck.
