Ways around most of my ScreenTime limitations

My daughters are 9 and 11 and they find ways around most of my ScreenTime limitations. The "one more minute" for apps is NOT one more minute. It opens up continued use. I don't know how exactly, but my kids do it all the time. "Downtime" isn't a solution because that blocks the device completely. Often they are using the device for "permitted" activities whether its school work or talking with friends. If Apple wants to tout this tool as advantage for parents, they need to fix this "one more minute" function.

They also need to enable functionality that allows you to aggregate time limits for different types/groups of apps and websites by categories that parents create. If I have 2 hours set for game apps (grouped together based on Apple's categorization) and 2 hours for specific websites (for games because they can access directly on a webiste, such as Minecraft or Roblux), the timelimits provide 4 hours in the aggregate and doesn't group the time together. I understand the system doesn't know they are the same so we should have the option of picking categories of apps, websites and to put into a "Group" and apply a time limit. Its either "All apps" or their groupings of what they consider "Games."

While I am at it, Downtime should be able to have multiple "on and off" for each day and not just "nightime" function. Should be able to permit usage during certain times - "uptime" from 10:00am to 12:00pm on a particular day and then "downtime" until permissible "uptime" again at 5:00pm to 7:00pm and then "downtime" again. As currently structured, downtime only complete blocks for one consecutive time period. I understand the intention is downtime at night like from 9:00pm to 7:00am or whatever but given the other problems with ScreenTime, this becomes a critical way to limit and manage access.

Apple - please put some resources into making this functionality more robust and parent-friendly.
